Korita Aviation is one of the worlds leading inflight catering equipment manufacturers. Our engineering and design department is located at the manufacturing facility in Suzhou, PR China. The global sales office is based in Nuth, The Netherlands. At the very basis of Korita Aviation lies the foundation of Direct Air Flow which goes back to 1992, when Mr. John Reidy and Mrs. Mieke Bougie founded the company as a trading company in aviation catering equipment. The success of Direct Air Flow created a demand for an own brand of new aviation catering equipment and due to a demand from the airlines for service, shorter lead times and good quality new equipment the founders created space in this market for a new galley insert manufacturer. This led to the establishment of Korita Aviation in Suzhou, PR China in the year 2006. CAAC, EASA and FAA certification was received in 2009, Boeing approval in 2012 and COMAC approval in 2015. Korita Aviation has since its foundation developed to one of the world’s leading manufacturer’s of aviation and rail catering equipment, serving many small and large customers worldwide. Both Direct Air Flow and Korita Aviation are part of the Direct Aviation group www.directaviation.aero which is owned by the original founders. In January 2017 Korita Aviation moved to a new manufacturing facility in Suzhou, Jiangsu, People’s Republic of China.
